HD PROMISES

KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Hebrews 1:1-2(NKJV)
God, who at various times and in various ways spoke in time past to the fathers by the prophets, has in these last days spoken to us by His Son, whom He has appointed heir of all things, through whom also He made the worlds;.
Growing up, you probably heard people say that eating in the dream or flying in the dream was the result of the activities of witchcraft and so you became afraid if you saw yourself eating or flying in the dream. And the devil capitalized on that to direct your heart away from it’s focus on the promise.
But look what scripture says in our text today; it says God has spoken WITH FINALITY in the person of Jesus. It’s a higher reality!
This means that any word that comes now must match the preceding word Jesus has spoken. And any prophesy, vision, dream that counters what Jesus has said must lose significance and relevance in your eyes, ears and heart.
In the new testament, you give your dreams meaning because you already have a defined meaning in the Son. Nothing else holds the power to define your dream other than what the Son has said.
In Acts 2:17-18, on the day of Pentecost, Peter reminded them that Joel had prophesied that when the Holy Spirit is poured out/given to us, a natural result is that we will see visions, have dreams and prophesy.
And we know that the Holy Spirit is the seal/trademark of every believer(Ephesians 1:13)
So what then has the power to influence your dreams?
Look, whatever you give attention will give you direction.
If Satan needs to use food in the dream or fear to get your attention, refuse to give it to him. If he’s powerful enough, he doesn’t need to go through fear or dreams to get you. The point of fear is to weaken your stand so that when you are replying him from that place of fear, you are not dealing with full strength.
But he already lost over 2000 years ago! These are just gimmicks that he is employing to attempt to fight a battle he already lost.
Fasten your attention on the promise and what God has said to you in Christ as a reminder of his defeat.
Dear believer, don’t just quote and memorize scriptures. The promises/scriptures have to be real to you in HD(higher definition)than the problems.
The Bible says, Abraham considered not the weakness or deadness of he and Sarah’s reproductive abilities(Romans 4:19). Imagine Sarah pushing or being in labour at 90 years old.
Look! The promise will beat your impossibilites.
REFLECTION
Am I actively contemplating on the promise?
DECLARATION
-I am born of God. I am in the Son, therefore I am a joint heir of all that Christ has.
-All God’s promises for me in Christ hold finality and superiority over every other reality/prophesy.
-I actively contemplate on the promise over contrary dreams, visions and prophesies.
-I give my dreams meaning.
-I give no room for fear! Each day, I supervise the reminder of the devil’s defeat over 2000 years ago!
-I live a life of ease and unlimited possibilities because the promise at work in me has the capacity to beat every impossibility!
-Today, I enjoy daily benefits and testimonies abound for me because the Gospel works. Hallelujah!
