KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Romans 2:11 (AMPC)
For God shows no partiality [[a]undue favor or unfairness; with Him one man is not different from another].

Do you have that one friend whom great things happen for so effortlessly? They graduate from school struggle-free, buy their first car at 22, get married before 25 and have a house by 27?
You look at them and begin to wonder just maybe if there are people God loves more than the rest of the world.
Look, can I tell you something?
God doesn’t play favourites.

It is absolutely important for every believer to know and understand that the things that happen to us or for us are not a proof of God’s love. Please let this sink in.
Only one thing defines God’s love for us. It’s the CROSS!(Romans 5:8)

Someone once said that, “The cross is proof that God made the first move”.
That is so profound. Think about when a guy makes the first move to woo a girl. He is so enamoured with her that he is pulling out all the stops to win her love even before she can love him.

Listen, God proved His love for the WHOLE WORLD, not a select few, by the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross. (John 3:16).
He proved that we all made it on the list of those He loved when He died for all of us. He made the first move of bringing us into a love relationship knowing fully well that we were unable to love Him back at the time and that there was a possibility that we may never do.
I John 3:16 says we know real love because Jesus gave up His life for us.

You should know that God’s love for you can not be meaaured by material things. Those are not the yardstick for measuring the love of God for you.
Matthew 5:45 tells us that He causes his sun to rise on the evil and the good, and sends rain on the righteous and the unrighteous. In other words, if He gives to everyone, both believers and unbelievers alike, then material provisions are not a measurement of His love for us.

God’s love is best experienced by an increasing revelation of the cross. The more you dwell on the truth of what happened on the cross, meditating on His word, every wrong stronghold and lie of the devil that God doesn’t love you will be torn down.
You will come to an unshaken conviction that God does not love your Pastor or that friend that has it all going well more than He loves you.

God actually takes delight in you.
Yes, you.
If you were the only one on earth, He will still prove His love by dying for you. He will gladly leave the 99 to find you. That has got to mean something. That you are just as loved by Him as anyone else.

So take delight in Him and His love and see if your perspective won’t change, regardless of what happens to you.
I want you to be so grounded in the revelation of God’s love for you that nothing else, no life circumstance(good or bad) will be able to shake your assurance of His love or cause you to doubt or resent His love.
Let the revelation of God’s love through the lens of the cross be where you hide. If you keep yourself securely in this love as scripture says in Jude vs 21, everything else will flow from there.

REFLECTION
How do I feel about those things that seem to be working out for everyone else but me? Does God love me on the same level as He does others?

DECLARATION
-I’m loved by God.
-The revelation of God’s love hits my spirit man today and everyday, in increasing measures.
-I refuse to judge God’s love for me by the presence of material things.
-The cross is my yardstick for God’s love always.
-I take delight in the fact that I am His delight.
-As I grow in the revelation of God’s love for me, it causes me to have an expectation of good.
-I am convinced that God is not being partial when it comes to blessing me. My heart has found comfort in the truth that God loves and is ALWAYS good to me.
-Every lie of the devil is pulled down and my mind is secure in the truth that I am His beloved.
-This is my reality. Hallelujah!
