KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE:1 Corinthians 1:23-24 (NLT)
So when we preach that Christ was crucified, the Jews are offended and the Gentiles say it’s all nonsense. But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the POWER of God and the WISDOM of God.

As you go on in this walk of faith, there will always be instances that question your loyalty to Christ. People and things will try you and question your faith.
This is something you must understand as a believer and be prepared for.

In the passage we read yesterday, we see that the message of cross is not logical so it would get questioned.
If you read the following verses, it is remarkable to see that through wisdom, the world could not know God so He had to step it down and bring it to foolishness(verse 19-21).
And guess what? This seeming foolishness is still wiser than the wisdom of this world.

Oh how I love verse 23 and 24. It tells us what this wisdom of God is embodied in.
It says Christ is the WISDOM of God! Oh Hallelujah!
And then the next verse tells us that the foolishness of God is wiser than men and His weakness stronger than men.
Wow.
Let’s bring this home.
Have you ever been called a fool before but in the foolishness you knew you were walking in the wisdom of God? I imagine it has.
Listen friends, you must understand that the world can never understand the things of God. They need to come to a revelational knowledge not scientific knowledge or knowledge by intellectual activity.

Friends, this is the story- God wanted to save you and when He thought of a means to do that, He decided to make the dying of God in the flesh, who is Jesus, the only means by which mankind is saved.
Look, no amount of wisdom that you possessed could save you.
It is only by the demonstration of God’s wisdom in the dying of Jesus that you are saved.
This is the wisdom we preach. Leave the world’s logic and stay with the wisdom of God.

REFLECTION
Do I amplify the wisdom of God embodied in Christ as the only way of salvation?

DECLARATION
-I believe in the good news of the gospel. That in the giving of Jesus, I am now a beneficiary of God’s grace.
-The gospel is the grace of God. I am thankful for the grace of God.
-I have come into a progressive revelation of all that the grace of God reveals.
-The cross is the proof of God’s love for me.
-The cross is the highest demonstration of God’s power and wisdom.
-The cross is the reason why I’m saved and although it may seem foolish to the world, I marvel at God’s wisdom.
-Christ is the POWER and WISDOM of God!
-I stay with the wisdom of the cross as God’s only means for salvation and I abandon the logic and intellect of the world.
-I remain thankful for the demonstration of God’s wisdom in the dying of Jesus.
-I amplify the wisdom of God embodied in Christ as the only hope of salvation.
Praise God!
