Dr. Phil Ransom-Bello

“These all died in faith, not having received the promises, but having seen them afar off were assured of them, embraced them and confessed that they were strangers and pilgrims on the earth.”

I think that anyone who’s been following the conversation on the believer’s heart and applying it would realize a change in their outcomes.
Because you see, what these lessons have brought to light is how important the posture of your heart is, as a believer. The fact that everything flows from there, including how you get to experience in Christ, the unlimited possibilities that the promise has activated.

If you get this, you’ll realize that even when you are dealing with the problem, you have to deal with it from the perspective of the promise.
That’s the posture of a heart that cannot unsee or let go of the promise.

Take a look at our text today. So powerful.
Its the passage of scripture that tells us stories of heroes of faith in the Bible. Men and women whose lives proved that the fulfilment of the promise was always going to be by faith in the one who gave the promise.
In fact, they were so assured of the promise that even in the face of death, they didn’t stop believing.
This is how every believer ought to stake his/her all on the promise.

They caught a glimpse of the promise from afar and it was all they saw. It coloured their vision, their perspective.
And yet they died without receiving the fullness of this promise because God had a plan in view to include us in the experience of the fullness of this promise too(Hebrews 11:39-40).

How much more us?
Imagine the advantage we who have come to the fulness of faith in Christ, now posssess when we catch a glimpse of this promise and stake our lives on it.
Oh Hallelujah!
How will you respond to the promise?

Am I willing to stake my all on the revelation of the promise?

-In Christ, I have received the fulfilment of the promise!
-The promise has taken up residence in my heart. I maintain the posture of a heart that cannot unsee the promise.
-I contemplate on the promise over and again to the point of saturation.
-I lay up the promise in my heart, minds and entire being. It is engraved on my hands to keep in view and before my eyes to never lose sight of.
-The revelation of the promise has coloured my perspective. I have staked my all on the promise.
-I walk in the advantage and unlimited possibilities that the promise has activated.
