KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Ezekiel 36:26(NKJV)
I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; I will take the heart of stone out of your flesh and give you a heart of flesh.

Yesterday, we learnt that our love stems from a pure heart, a good conscience and sincere faith because we have a new nature. (1 Timothy 1:5).
You must know and believe within yourself that you have a pure heart. It doesn’t matter what you’ve seen or done or experienced. Your pure heart is not a function of yourself but the finished work of Christ.
And in those moments where the reality of your pure heart is tempted by weaknesses, keep standing on your position as the one who has a pure heart because it is not a function of what you have done to get there.

Hear me, everybody looks good under the blood of Jesus. No one person is cleansed more than the other. It’s a level playing ground. You are a good person. That’s who you are now.

A new born doesn’t have a past except the yesterday in the womb and from the moment time begins to count as his life here, he doesn’t have a past. That’s how it is for the believer. (2 Corinthians 5:17)
You say, “Oh but I have a history”.
Listen, you are born again. Your history is in a past that the truth of your new nature completely wiped off. It no longer exists.

When you are able to see your capacity to love from your position, you are going to love against history. Your loving will not be contaminated by facts from the past.
Here’s a question for you- Why would Jesus love his enemies? Why would He love us when we were still sinners? (Romans 5:8)
It was because He had a pure heart. And now you have that same heart.

Can I share a truth with you? See, consciousness determines reality so you’ve got to stay conscious of your pure heart in your love walk as a believer.
Always keep it in view.

In Matthew 5:8, scripture says- Blessed are the pure in heart for their eyes will be open to see more of God.
You can’t be seeing more of God and your love will be contaminated? It’s impossible.

Dear believer, protect your view!
