KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: 2 Corinthians 5:18-19(NKJV)
“Now all things are of God, who has reconciled us to Himself through Jesus Christ, and has given us the ministry of reconciliation, that is, that God was in Christ reconciling the world to Himself, not imputing their trespasses to them, and has committed to us the word of reconciliation.”

No other fruit of the gospel could be as fitting for the conclusion of these series as the fruit of soul-winning.
It is the height of fruitfulness to receive the gospel and be so fired up, that your entire existence is defined by the passion to bring others to the knowledge of the gospel.

Look at our text today, it should be the believer’s creed. Verse 19 says He has given us the word of reconciliation.
Affirm to yourself- He has given ME the word of reconciliation.
So it’s your duty to tell someone God is not angry with them. It is your duty.
Think about it, when last did you witness?
Conduct a self-check. When last did you communicate my faith to someone?
If you can’t remember or if you haven’t been carrying out this duty, then there’s a deficiency of the gospel in your heart.
It is a fruit that you are not bearing.

Look, it should be a part of you to witness the gospel.
That when you are with someone who is not saved, the first thing you are thinking about is witnessing the gospel.
Ephesians 6:15 calls it the strapping of your feet in preparation to face the enemy with stability and promptness produced by the good news.
So the good news in itself, is what pushes you to tell someone about the good news.

If you are in a relationship with the good news, you’ll want to talk to someone about it. You can’t tell me you know the gospel and you have never communicated it to someone before.
No, it begs the question if you are really saved.
You will want to tell others about this goodness you have received!
It should never be a case of not knowing your duty, it’s better that you are expressing the gospel and there’s difficulty expressing it. And that will get easier but just make sure you are communicating the gospel.

Dear believer, live for a cause that’s bigger than you. Be sold out to service for the gospel’s sake and take pleasure in the fellowship of the brethren.
Be a gospel fruit bearer.

REFLECTION
Is my relationship with the good news evident?

DECLARATION
-I believe in the good news of the gospel, that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus has announced the provision of forgiveness of my sins.
-I don’t just know the gospel, I live the gospel. I am transformed by the gospel. The gospel is working through me.
-The hearing of the gospel produces the fruits of Genuine Faith, Love for all the Saints and Hope of a Guaranteed Future in me.
-The fruits of the gospel are not a product of my ability but are generated supernaturally.
-The gospel bears the fruit of soul-winning. My existence is defined by the passion to bring others to the knowledge of the gospel.
-I have received the word of reconciliation and I carry out this duty.
-There is no deficiency of the gospel in me.
-I communicate my faith, witnessing the gospel with promptness and readiness.
-My relationship with the good news is evident. I tell people about it.
-I live for a cause that is greater than me. I am sold out to service for the gospel sake and I delight in the fellowship of the brethren.
Glory to God!
