A LIFE OF FAITHFULNESS

KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Galatians 5:22(NKJV)
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness,
Scripture says, “…But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…”
In other words, telling us that it’s entirely a fruit or a work of the Spirit to be kind, to be good.
Goodness is a fruit generated by the Spirit. Same with faithfulness.
There are some people who are not faithful at all.
That is, you can’t depend on them. Today, they are faithful, tomorrow they are not.
But you see, the quality of faithfulness, the ability to stay and be disciplined to respond to God’s already extended faithfulness is purely a fruit of the Spirit not a work of the flesh.
Some people are not faithful with what is given to them, nothing comes out of it.
So apart from the fact that it’s hard to see/depend on them, what is put in their hands is not productive.
Remember the parable of the talents in Matthew 25?
That guy went to hide his own. That’s not faithfulness.
Listen friends, God doesn’t reward position, He rewards faithfulness. If I’m not faithful as a pastor and someone who is a member is more faithful, he or she will surely get more rewards than me because it is about being faithful.
Decide today to yield to the outworking of the fruit of faithfulness in you.
Amen.
REFLECTION
The fruit of faithfulness is expressed through me.
DECLARATION
-I believe in the good news of the gospel, that the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus has announced the provision of forgiveness of my sins.
-I don’t just know the gospel, I live the gospel. I am transformed by the gospel. The gospel is working through me.
-The hearing of the gospel produces the fruits of Genuine Faith, Love for all the Saints and Hope of a Guaranteed Future in me.
-The fruits of the gospel are not a product of my ability but are generated supernaturally.
-The fruit of the Spirit is in me already.
-My life is yielded to consistently reach out for the fruit in all its many expressions.
-My life bears a notable transformation because of the fruit of the Spirit being expressed in me.
-I live a life of goodness and faithfulness.
-I am dependable and productive with the gifts and assignments God has given to me.
-I do not hide. I stay disciplined and I receive the reward for being faithful.
