KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: I John 5:14(NKJV)
Now this is the confidence that we have in Him, that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us.

You see, one of the most remarkable qualities of the gospel is the fact that it works in any and every area of our lives. It is the answer to every human question or challenge.
And I say this because even with regards to the subject of praying, the gospel provides answers.
Just by the simple yet transformational truth that our sins have been forgiven and we have been made righteous by faith, there are so many dividends that this gospel works out through us.

One of such fruits is that the gospel produces confidence in our heart regarding prayers. You see, when you know that you’ve been loved completely and that there is no condemnation for you, rather you’ve been asked to come boldly(Hebrews 4:16), you will be assured of the kind of reception awaiting you when you come to God in prayers.
This will ultimately change the way you approach prayers because you will now have confidence before Him in prayers.

1 John 5:14 speaks about this. It says that this confidence stems from the knowledge that if we ask anything according to His will, He hears us. So how many of you can believe that God hears your prayer?
Why do you think He does? What gives us this confidence?
It’s because we are in Him!
The question is, are you in Him?
Then He hears your prayers. Know this!

Now, let’s see the next verse;
“And if we know that He hears us, whatever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we have asked of Him.”
Praise God!

Listen, God is not going to readily answer the pastor’s prayer more than yours. He is not going to answer the prophet specially.
So grow beyond, “Pastor, what’s the Lord saying?” Or
“Prophet, prophesy.”
You can tell us what the Lord is saying. You have the same access and privilege of communicating with God in prayers.
Believe that God hears your prayers and pray confidently.
