GO ON LIFE SUPPORT

KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: John 14:27 (AMP) Peace I leave with you; My [perfect] peace I give to you; not as the world gives do I give to you. Do not let your heart be troubled, nor let it be afraid. [Let My perfect peace calm you in every circumstance and give you courage and strength for every challenge.]
In the past couple of weeks, it’s like everywhere you turn, news of the global health crisis is fired aggressively at you like bullets, and suddenly, the world as we know it seems to make no sense.
But hear me dear friends, there’s better news.
It’s the GOOD NEWS. THE GOSPEL.
Listen, the Gospel will always be the answer to every human challenge or crisis, regardless of how hopeless it may seem.
This Good News is that through the sacrifice of Christ’s death, burial and resurrection, we are victorious over the influence of the devil and every manifestation of the works of darkness. (Colossians 1:13; 2:14-15)
In Christ, we have been delivered from the fear and effect of every plague or diseases. We now carry the life of God!
In Romans 16:20, scripture says that the God of peace will crush Satan under our feet.
So here’s the word for you today- PEACE!
Look what our text says- It says the peace that Christ left with us is perfect. It is not the kind of peace that can be derived from the words of assurance we hear from the mouths of world leaders or public health professionals, as good as they are.
You must instruct your heart to focus on His peace alone. From the inside out not the other way around.
Remember the rough sea situation where the disciples thought they’d drown in Mark 4:35–41?
Jesus taught them how to respond to life’s storms that threaten to drown us. He said- “Peace be still!”
Dear believer, you master storms by speaking peace. Don’t respond like everyone else is, in fear, panic, anxiety. Christ left His peace with you to fortify your heart with.
Just as people are placed on life support to keep them alive in medicine, let your heart be plugged to the life support machine of God’s peace.
Speak peace over your heart, your family, your church, your city, your nation and the world.
REFLECTION
What is my response in this season? Am I dispensing God’s peace or fear?
DECLARATION
-I am born of God. Therefore I have overcome the world.
-I am a carrier of His life and a partaker of the divine nature.
-I have come into the protective custody of His perfect peace. My heart is fortified.
-I affirm that I have no fears.
-The peace of God is flooding the whole earth.
-I declare that “Peace, be still” in Nigeria and in all nations of the world.
-On the basis of the finished works of the cross, I declare that “It is finished”.
-Today, I affirm that the Gospel works and all over the world, peace, hope and healing is spreading to the praise of His glory!
