CAMPAIGN EVERYDAY
28th January 2020
Dr. Phil Ransom-Bello

KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Romans 8:1(AMP) Therefore there is now no condemnation [no guilty verdict, no punishment] for those who are in Christ Jesus [who believe in Him as personal Lord and Savior].

Imagine that you did something your father doesn’t approve of and someone who has always spoken ill of your dad tells you that your action is worthy of death so it’s better for you not to go home anymore. Since you know that this person has been trying to undermine your father since before you were born, what would you do?

Let’s think about it- In the first place, what is the person’s business? Who called him/her into the issue or required his/her opinion?
This issue is strictly between you and your dad afterall. Why should an insignificant stranger try to get involved in the issue?
Now, this picture is a clear illustration of God our father, ourselves and the devil when it comes to sin.

Listen, the blinders need to come off so we can see the devil for who he really is. His campaign is dedicated to stop us from receiving God’s love by faith.

As a believer in Christ Jesus, you have been redeemed from the nature of sin. In 2 Corinthians 5, scripture tells us that He is not counting your sins anymore. Rather, His desire for you is to bask in the gift of righteousness He has given to you.

And the devil isn’t pleased, he wants you to feel like God is angry with you and you’re never going to be good enough to be accepted by God. He works overtime in dishing out feelings of condemnation to every believer hoping to see if we will take the bait and begin to doubt God’s love.

2 Corinthians 5:7 says we live by faith not by sight. It’s the faith we have in God’s love that we function by not our feelings.

The devil’s campaign is real, don’t ever think he is isn’t working hard to sow seeds of doubt in your heart about God’s love for you.
1 Peter 5:8 gives us a heads up about his aggressive campaign. It says to be careful and watch out for attacks. These attacks will often come in the form of thoughts and questions.

The moment you begin to doubt what God says about you, you start wallowing in guilt and next, you feel unworthy to live from your position as a believer or enjoy the inheritance you now have in Christ.

No! Not anymore!
You must undermine his campaign too. Anytime he comes at you with accusations, declare the manifesto of what Christ has done for you and made you to become. Consistently amplify this truth till his campaign loses relevance.

REFLECTION
Whose campaign holds more influence on the way I feel or live?

DECLARATION
-The devil has no power over me.
-I move by faith not by sight.
-I’m moved by God’s words not my feelings.
-I silence every accusing voice of the devil.
– The devil’s campaign loses significance to God’s campaign over me in the gospel.
-I am loved unconditionally by God at all times.
-My sins are forgiven.
