KEY SCRIPTURE/MEMORY VERSE: Romans 5:8-10 (NKJV)
But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Much more then, having now been justified by His blood, we shall be saved from wrath through Him. For if when we were enemies we were reconciled to God through the death of His Son, much more, having been reconciled, we shall be saved by His life.

The work of salvation was a two-part work as we see in our text; to save us from sin by His death and to unite us with Him by His resurrected life. Just as His death gave us the assurance of justification and the forgiveness of sins, His resurrection gives us the assurance of glorification and eternal life.
(Romans 6:7-9)

Much more here speaks of one being greater, i.e our eternal union with Him.
Do you know that it is harder to be resurrected than it is to die? In fact, just the idea of living forever(the gift of eternal life)carries greater weight than just being saved and forgiven. It speaks of the guarantee of our salvation.

Paul paints a striking picture here for us, he is saying, if Christ could surmount the seemingly great challenge of sin by his death, imagine what his resurrected life can accomplish, which is the reality of our own resurrected life and eternal union with Him.

Listen, when Jesus said those words- “It is finished” on the cross, it was truly finished! When He saved us, He saved us well!
He wasn’t only talking about the forgiveness of our sins, he was talking about something way bigger – it was the “joy” that was set before Him. He declared the completeness of what He came to do; that nothing more will be required. Praise God!

Christ did not leave the work of our salvation half-baked, waiting for us to complete the rest by ourselves. No, He finished it. This is why He is the “author and finisher of our faith”. (Hebrews 12:2)

Now, if Christ could give us such a great gift of forgiveness, justification and eternal life even before we knew, while we were still sinners, think about the much more .
Think about how stronger this reality has become now that we are His children. This is the lens through which the mind of Christ perceives every area of life.

As a believer in Christ, you should live life experiencing the full package of the work on the cross. It’s like being lodged in a fully paid for luxury hotel suite with pool access, gym membership, complimentary meals (breakfast, lunch and dinner) and drinks, FREE WI-FI and using only the bed. There is much more and it’s been paid for!
Use it all.

REFLECTION
Are there areas of my life yet to experience the full package of the resurrected life?

DECLARATION
I have been reconciled to God.
I died with Christ and I was raised with Him.
I have been justified with Christ!
My sins are forgiven!
I have received eternal life in Christ.
The significance of this eternal life is seen in my health, my business, my family, my finances and every other area!
I abound in the much more!
Praise God!
